Bongobondhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park, Dulahajra, Cox's Bazar


Dulahazara Safari Park is located 48 kilometers north of Cox's Bazar district headquarters and 10 kilometers south of Chakaria thana, at Dulahajara block of Fasikkhali range of southern forest division of Cox's Bazar district headquarters.

Originally deer breeding center, this park was established in 1999 by Bangladesh Forest and Environment Ministry. This Safari Park extends over 900 hectares of area. Some people do not agree to the Safari Park in Dulahazara Safari Park, because instead of the natural infrastructure, modern and artificial infrastructures have been developed instead.

By sharing eight blocks, this park can be parked in a free environment, wandering with family members effortlessly.

Although Dulhajara Safari Park is established as a deer breeding center, it also has tigers, lions, elephants, bear, gulls, crocodiles, hippo, Maya deer, Sambar deer, Chitra deer, para deer etc.

There are freshwater crocodiles in this park, as well as saltwater crocodiles. Some animals are caught in a cage, but there are plenty of open spaces for the animals to live in this park. The tourists have a restroom and dormitory.

With the observation of several observations placed in the tower, there is a pleasant sight of the beautiful and beautiful birds and birds.

How to go

From Cox's Bazar to Dhaka, Sadiya from Dhaka, Mercedes Benz of S. Alam, Green Line, Hanif Enterprise, Shyamoli Transport, Sohag Transport, S. Alam Transport, Modern Line, Shah Bahadur, St. Martin etc. AC, non AC buses. The rental will cost between Tk 900 and Tk 2000.

If you want to go to the train, then you will have to get out of Kamalapur, Chittagong will be named. From Chittagong, then you have to go to Cox's Bazar.

On the plane, only 45 minutes to go to Cox's Bazar. Regularly, Cox's Bazar, Navo Air, Regent Airways, United Air Wage, and other aircrafts have come. In this case, the rent will be 6500-8000 taka.

CNG operated autorickshaw or microbus or public bus from Cox's Bazar city to Safari Park.

For one night there is a room ranging from one thousand to 60 thousand taka. For those who do not want to spend so much, they have a low priced hotel. Behind the Seagull of the hotel, there are only 500 taka hotel on kolatoli Road.
