Sonarchar, on the outskirts of the Bay of Bengal, filled with beautiful natural beauty. Its location on the southern boundary of the Rangabali Upazila of Patuakhali, with the full bay of the Bay of Bengal.

 There is a seven-kilometer-long sea beach along the wide forest, there are red capsules. When the waters of the tide rise in the ocean, you can see the unique beauty of the Sonar Chor. How to go

From Kuakata can also go to Sonarachar. You have to go through the sea. The engine trawler will take three hours.

Where to Stay: 

There is no safe yet comfortable system to spend night sleeping. But in the initiative of the administration, a small three-room bungalow has been built for tourists. If you wish you can stay there at night. There are also forest department camps. There is some difficulty but tourists stay.

If you want to see the sunset, the engine-powered boats or trawlers can move in 30 minutes to Charmontaj. There are forest department, non-governmental organization, SAP, Bangladesh and Women Development Association, a fairly convenient bungalow for the night.

There are hotels. There are opportunities to enjoy the beauty of Mudubi, Shajajara, Tufania and Shipar, along with a few other islands beside the Sonarchar by spending the night in Paramontaj.
