Madhupalli is surrounded by the house of the midwife Michael Madhusudan Dutta. Michael Madhusudan Dutta was born on January 25, 1824, in the house. His progenitor, Ramkishore Datta, was a resident of Gopalpur village in Tala Upazila of Khulna district. His grandfather, Ramnithi Dutta, came with his younger brothers to his home in Sagardari.
Among the four sons of Ramnidhi, Sridestad, Madan Mohan Munsef, Devi Prasad and Rajnarayan were the lawyers of the Radhamohan court. Rajnarayan Datta grew up in Calcutta and made a lot of money.
He purchased zamindari in Sagardari and established some buildings and deities in the house. The Durga Puja is the year of the beautiful construction of the temple. On the east side of this house, the house and zamindari of his relatives were catecharged. Manukumari Basu, the nephew of Madhusudan, was born on the western side house.
In 1968, the Department of Archeology reformed the house and in 1996-2001, the area was surrounded by walls, in the form of a hut, gate, a platform, two receptions were built. At that time, the entire structure of the house was repaired and the present form was given.
Madhusudan is surrounded by the District Council of Dakbungalow, Sagardi tourist center, Madhusudan Museum. Kabotaksh's poem's memorial attracts kathosham trees and fare grass attraction tourists. It is said in 1862 that when the poet came to the Sagarrandi, his relatives did not let him get home because he was converted.
He stayed for 14 days after laying the tent under the Kathasham tree, failed to walk on the bank of Kobadak, and went to Calcutta for a farewell walk. On October 26, 1965, the then government declared the house as an antiquity. Madhusudan Museum has been established at home with some furniture and other memorials used by Madhusudan's family. Libraries have been set up.
